Angela Bassett

Angela Evelyn Bassett, born in NYC (1958), is an american actress and director. She is well known for interpreting the role of Betty Shabazz in Malcolm X and the role of Tina Turner in the biographic movie Tina Turner - What's Love Got to Do with It, thanks to which she wins a Golden Globe receiving a Oscar nomination for best female actress too. She takes part in the 3°season of the TV series American Horror Story, receiving 2 candidatures at Emmy Awards. In 2016 she acts in the movie London has Fallen.
